Great food so well prepared, great atmosphere

I love this place, visited in summer and sat outside. Great quiet neighborhood and we were immersed in RI culture, almost like we were in an Italian colony, the conversation (the RI accent), the food, the wine, the atmosphere. Pizza and a pasta dish were both excellent and served in a reasonable... read more

This is our new Italian favorite in Bristol. We showed up just in time to grab the last table on a Friday evening, and a line quickly formed on the sidewalk shortly after we sat down. I had the stuffed veal special with a side of Mashed. It was stuffed with mozzarella cheese and spinach, and topped with a sweet... More

As a typical Italian-American male I rarely eat Italian food outside my own home, having been spoiled rotten by a mother (and father) who were excellent cooks, I just find it easier to cook my own Italian meals. Then approximately two years ago, good fortune struck like a lightening bolt! Just a few blocks from my home the charming little... More

Small venue, family run, food is very good and quite reasonable. Try the chicken Milanese - it is one of the best dishes on the menu.

Recommended by a local, Pomodoro lived up to it's encouraging recommendation when my wife and I dined there in early October. We sat at an outdoor table warmed by overhead heaters. We had eaten a big lunch so we limited ourselves to their unique, highly recommended meatballs with mozzarella and added a 10" pizza. The theme is Southern Italian --... More

excellent food! The best eggplant Parmesan ever. Downside, it is very small and has become so popular it is hard to get in.. We were able to go only once this summer which was disappointing. Reservations are for 5 or more. Being a couple we cannot utilize them. Summer seating outside is lovely especially at night, but only 4 patio... More

Today was my first visit and walking up you see a small patio and entering you see a small space, but that's all that's small. The service and the food are first rate and the portions are large. I was greeted promptly with a carafe of ice water and told about the daily specials. I ordered the old standby of... More

Husband and I have tried twice. Sooo wanted to enjoy this place. Pomodore sauce was clean and delicious...it's a simple sauce. Ordered ravioli, should have noticed lack of "homemade" designation because they were NOT even close. Large cheese ravioli frozen store bought. Husband had veal dish just killed in cheese sauce! Round 2, chix Milianese-NO seasoning at all. I love... More

We had heard good things about this restaurant in Bristol and tried it for dinner last night. It is a small restaurant, with seating inside and outside. We ate outside on a beautiful fall evening. Restaurant is BYOB and there is a liquor store about a block and a half away. Menu has lots of casual fare - pizza, calzones,... More

Dined here for the first time recently after friends of ours recommended it. We're all of Italian descent and know good Italian food. As another poster said "this is the real deal". Veal Parm was delicious - generous portion of veal and pasta. The tomato sauce was very good. Spaghetti with clam sauce also very tasty. Portions are ample; prices... More
