Ordered a cake that should have read God Bless Lennox and Christian with gender neutral colors. Cake was picked up on a Sunday and once we realized that the cake read, "God Bless Christiana" (not Christian) without my nieces name anywhere and frosted with pink...and purple they were already closed for the day. We called on Tuesday when they re-opened and I was appalled at the owner Paul's reaction and tone with a customer that has been using them for years. On top of the fact that I have referred a ton of business to him through my time as an event planner. He said it was our fault for not checking the cake before we left. He offered to give us $27.50 toward a future cake ($55 for a 10" cake=rip off). He acted like he was doing us this huge favor even going as far as to say that he never refunds money for his mistakes. How often does this actually happen?? No money back! Yes you heard me right! Who blames a customer for their obvious and blatant mistake in. This is a memory for our children that we wont get back. How embarrassing it was for us to have to show our family this as well. Completely appalled and saddened by this poor customer service and combativeness that we received from Paul. Needless to say we will not be using Paul and the Cake Gallery any longer.More

I bought a cake for my daughters Bridal shower. It was beautiful! And it tasted as good as it looked. We were very happy and will use The Cake Gallery again.

Ordered many Birthday and other occassion cakes and have always been very pleased. Other pastry items are also very worth stopping in for!!!

The lack of nice decor of this place is surely overshadowed by the fantastic baked good this place has to offer. The variety is large and the tastes are excellent. I always stop by for a sweet bite when I am in the area. This...place made our wedding cake 5 years ago and it was excellent and at very reasonable price for a cake. Never disapoints. Every big special occasion my family has got a cake from here. Their fillings are to die for. The vanilla cupcake with rasberry or strawberry filling is my absolute favorite!

They make cakes, cookies and other desserts to order but you can also come in and have a slice of cake, cookies, fruit squares and coffee or tea. They even have gourmet ice cream in the warmer months.

Ordered a birthday cake over the phone from The Cake Gallery after looking in their windows several times as we would drive by. Purchased the Red Velvet cake with cream cheese frosting and it is one of the best, if not the best cake we...have had. Dense cake with a great flavor and the frosting had just the right amount of sweetness. Everyone loved it. The decorations were awesome and photo included with name removed. Price was less than I had anticipated based on cakes I have bought elsewhere. Young girl behind the counter was very nice.More

This tiny bakery in Bristol is unmatchable. Paul, the owner, is a master. He did both a rehearsal dinner cake and the wedding cake for my daughter's wedding. For the rehearsal cake, he used two adorable doggie (bride and groom) cake toppers made by the...mother of the groom. Paul went above and beyond by adding a wide plaid ribbon with bow and dying coconut green to put under the Scottie dogs. Everyone was blown away, first by the looks and then by the cake itself - a white cake with lemon fruit filling. Next, for the wedding cake, which was two tiers of red velvet cake with cream cheese filling. Paul asked for a photo of flowers for the colors to be used and the gum paste flowers he created and decorated the top of the cake with only added to the simple, elegant cake, perfectly covered in cream colored fondant. The antique glass pedestal that my daughter chose to display the cake was not steady enough to hold the cake, so Paul went to work adding a foil covered pedestal to make it work. Again, no one could stop raving about the beauty and taste. The moist, delicious cake, together with Paul's artistic talent make The Cake Gallery the best yet. Unfortunately, I live in New York City, but next time I'm in Bristol, I'll be sure to drop in.More

I have bought many cakes here. They are the reason I went with a cake buffet for my wedding, who could choose. We went with tiramisu, white cake with raspberry and vanilla mousse, coconut, chocolate with peanut butter mousse, cheesecake, etc.. The buffet got rave...reviews.More

Whenever there's a birthday in Bristol, I would love to throw down a little extra money and have them get the cake from Cake Gallery. Sure, the cake is going to be more expensive than Stop&Shop, etc. but its DEFINITELY worth it. The cake is...sooooo good! They also serve ice cream, cup cakes, coffee, and during the summer they had frozen bananas. Everything I've had from here has been good. Also, to entertain you after hours, they have two digital picture frames in the windows displaying different confections they have produced. My girlfriend and I, on more than one occasion, have stopped during our evening strolls to look. Definitely recommend!More
