What a wonderful surprise! This quiet spot nestled among the quaint little seaside town of Bristol. Very laid back, it was like being at home. Delicious breakfast cooked each morning and fresh baked goods and tea set out in the kitchen during the day. We wandered to the piano room to enjoy some music and into the game room for... More

Stayed at Mt. Hope Farm for a Mother's Day getaway. The accommodations were charming, clean and up to date. The grounds were beautiful and we had a gorgeous view out of every window! The staff went above and beyond and made us truly feel welcome and at home. We had breakfast with some wonderful guests and Innkeeper Dave greeted us... More

Very nice location for a wedding. Catered food was great. Dinner was served family style in the barn. Only problem was that each item was about 10 minutes apart. Fish - 10 min later - rice - 10 min - beef - 10 min - potato - 10 min - beans. Awkward way to eat. Barn was nicely renovated but... More

Our stay at the inn was a very relaxing and refreshing experience. The staff was beyond friendly, courteous and the entire place was extremely beautiful. I love farms and this location was a very pleasant surprise. We walked around the grounds, took pictures of the farm animals, visited the farmers market Saturday morning right on the grounds, we visited my... More

My wife and I had the distinct pleasure of staying at the Mount Hope Farm this past Labor Day weekend while attending wedding events in Bristol and Newport. Our stay there was a most enjoyable and memorable experience. If you are looking for a 1700's farmhouse B&B in a pastoral setting, complete with goats, chickens and pheasants, down the road... More

We were there for a wedding (of site) in Bristol and our experience there was warm and welcoming. The staff was very engaging and accommodating. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The grounds were awesome!! Great for morning walks and then a delicious breakfast! The feel of Mount Hope B&B was so much better than that of a hotel,... More

If you want to get away from the noise and clanging of city life, this is the place. This historical property is like an oasis, its extensive grounds spreading out a welcome mat as you drive past the strong stone walls that surround the old house once owned by the first governor of Rhode Island. The laid back but helpful... More

We've been visiting Bristol for many years because two of our three children went to Roger Williams University. Of all the times we've visited, we've never had a chance to stay at Mount Hope Farm. It was always one thing or another: if I could get through, they were booked, if I couldn't get through, I just gave up. There... More

The friendly staff at Mount Hope Farm was so welcoming and charming. The rooms vary in size, and they are all clean, quaint and comfortable. But they are not particularly luxurious, as one might expect from a bed-and-breakfast on a farm. And speaking of breakfast, the homemade breakfasts are great, cooked by yet another charming staff member. The inn is... More

We had two nights in Room 11 which is the entire upper floor of the pool house don't be mislead into thinking there is a pool though as we were. We'd packed our bathing suits but weren't too disappointed as it rained most of the weekend anyway! David also, very kindly allowed us to use the kitchen downstairs so we... More
