It is a nice hotel that is convenient to Roger Williams University. The wifi seems to be better to use (they used to give you a ethernet cable). The staff has always been nice and helpful. My daughter attended the university and I prefer to stay here over Middletown because of the quaint location.

Staff was friendly and allowed us to check in early since our room was ready. Best part of the hotel is it's proximity to restaurants and shops. We were well pleased with the location. The hotel parking wasn't available as there was a group meeting there and they had priority,so we had to park a couple blocks away. And then it rained. I had business in Bristol that required a two-night stay, and the BHI was recommended. Couldn't ask for a better location, steps from the water and plenty of great dining. Had a great room, and got lots of good recommendations on where to eat and what to see from the staff. Nice, relaxed atmosphere.

We came for the day to enjoy the extensive bike path and stayed at this lovely hotel. Great location, very clean, extremely nice service and good breakfast. I recommend it to anyone. Always like to support the non chains.

Have been many times. The east bay bike path starts here off the coast of the Narragansett Bay. Great starting point for the 14 mile path.. There is a spot to put your bike at the hotel. The rooms are very cozy and the staff is great. The DeWolff tavern is next door and they have specials .
