“Discrimination for families with children”

“Seasonal”

A very nice quiet campground for adults. I have been a seasonal camper there for four years going to make it five this year 2016! Have made a lot of new friends over the years. The campground also has a gated entrance which is nice. Also Brad the campers host is available 24/7 if you need anything.

Just returned from our first camping trip at WCG & we were impressed! As the title indicates, there are no frills here, so if you are looking for pools, bingo halls & snack bars this is not the campground for you. “Quiet and Staff are Nice”

This is not your resort camping grounds. However, they are not intending them to be either.     Westport Camping Grounds is a 40+ years family owned tent and trailer campground nestled on 33 acres of woodlands. All sites have a water and electric hookup and some trailer sites have septic hookup as well. There are clean bathrooms and showers and there is a laundromat facility as well. Sites are large, level, shaded, and can accomodate a trailer up to 38 ft long. Dogs are welcome as long as on leash. Free wi-fi is available and there is a security gate for safety. There is no natural or artificial body of water or planned activities at this campground. However, beautiful Horseneck Beach is only 8 miles away and the Westport River is within walking distance as well as a variety store, tennis courts, and library. Many area attractions are a short drive away. Westport Camping Grounds is open April thru October. ... more   less
